Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has officially announced the creation of the Army Rocket Force Command to strengthen the country's defense and combat readiness. The announcement came during a grand ceremony in Islamabad marking Pakistan's 78th Independence Day celebrations.
Speaking at the event, Sharif said the new force is equipped with advanced technology capable of striking enemies "from all directions." He described this move as another historic milestone in Pakistan's journey to strengthen its military power and protect national sovereignty.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the force will enhance Pakistan's strategic strike capabilities, ensuring the country remains prepared for any external threat. He invited all political parties to unite under a "Charter of Stability," which he described as more than an economic plan — a framework designed in the interest of the nation.
Sharif also addressed past tensions with India, recalling what he called unprovoked attacks based on false accusations. He said Pakistan responded with strength and resilience, defending its borders and national pride.
The Prime Minister praised top military leaders, including Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Babar, and Naval Chief Admiral Naveed Ashraf, for their decisive leadership.
Highlighting Pakistan's swift military response, Sharif stated that within four days of the conflict, "India's pride was shattered into dust." He reaffirmed his commitment to building a united, strong, and secure Pakistan, capable of facing any challenge from any direction.
