Title: UAE Warns Israel Annexing West Bank Crosses dangerous Regional Red Line

The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong warning to Israel, declaring that any move to annex parts of the occupied West Bank would cross a "red line" and threaten regional peace and security. The statement underlines the UAE's consistent support for Palestinian rights despite its diplomatic normalization with Israel.

According to the Emirates News Agency, UAE Minister of State Khalifa Shaheen Al-Marar confirmed the position after the 164th session of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers. He emphasized that annexation undermines stability and violates the principles of international law.

Al-Marar stressed that "Israel's annexation of the West Bank or any part of the occupied Palestinian territories represents a red line." He warned that such a step would weaken security across the Middle East and further delay hopes for a just solution to the conflict.

The UAE reiterated its commitment to a two-state solution as the only path to lasting peace. Emirati officials said the rights of Palestinians must be protected and the international community must not allow annexation or forced displacement to erase the Palestinian cause.

In Cairo, the UAE chaired ministerial meetings where Arab states reached consensus on rejecting displacement policies, halting the war in Gaza, and resisting any attempt to annex Palestinian lands. The UAE also reaffirmed its role in humanitarian aid efforts for civilians in Gaza.

Through its diplomatic efforts, the UAE continues to balance regional mediation with firm support for Palestinian statehood, calling on Israel to respect international law and preserve regional stability.
