Syria has strongly condemned an Israeli drone strike that killed six of its soldiers near the capital Damascus. Officials described the attack as a serious violation of the country's sovereignty and international law. On the same day, another Israeli strike reportedly killed a young civilian in the village of Taranja, close to the Golan Heights armistice line. Local residents said the attack destroyed a house and spread fear among families in the area.
