Following the Sultan of Sokoto's announcement, the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs has confirmed that the Islamic month of Dhul-Qadah will commence on Tuesday, April 29th.
Wa Alaikum Assalam. The Sultan of Sokoto has announced that Tuesday, April 29th, 2025, marks the beginning of Dhul Qa'adah 1446 AH.
No confirmed sightings of the new crescent moon have been reported by members of @moonsightingng. Confirmation from the Sultanate council is still pending.
