Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and China have strongly condemned Israel's expanded ground assault in Gaza, warning that the operation constitutes a violation of international law and threatens regional peace and stability. The coordinated criticism highlights growing international concern over the humanitarian situation in the besieged enclave.
In Riyadh, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs denounced what it described as the "continued perpetration of crimes" by Israeli occupation forces. It further criticized the international community for failing to take effective measures to halt the escalation, calling for urgent intervention to protect civilians and end the violence.
Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement condemning the Israeli operation "in the strongest terms," labeling it a continuation of war against the Palestinian people and a "blatant violation of international law." It warned that Israel's actions undermine peace prospects through settlement expansion, aggression, and racist policies.
Doha reiterated its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, including the establishment of an independent state based on 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital. The statement urged decisive international action to enforce compliance with international resolutions and safeguard civilian lives in Gaza.
Meanwhile in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian declared that China "firmly opposes Israel's escalation of military operations in Gaza." He emphasized that Beijing condemns all acts that harm civilians and violate international law, particularly the bombardment of Gaza City.
The synchronized positions of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and China underscore a broader international pushback against Israel's military actions. Their calls reflect mounting demands for accountability, adherence to humanitarian law, and urgent steps toward a just and lasting resolution to the Palestinian crisis.
