He also lauded the "great American Warriors," emphasizing the unparalleled capability of the US military. Trump concluded his statement with a call for "NOW IS THE TIME FOR PEACE!"

These attacks signify the first direct military involvement by the United States in the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, marking a critical turning point in regional tensions.

President Trump later indicated he would address the nation at 10 p.m. ET Saturday night to discuss the situation further.
