The Israeli military has pushed further into Gaza City, intensifying attacks and forcing thousands of Palestinians to flee once again. Soldiers and tanks advanced into Sheikh Radwan, one of the largest and most crowded neighborhoods, sparking fear and destruction across the area. This offensive comes despite repeated international appeals for a ceasefire and growing humanitarian concerns.

Local residents reported widespread destruction of homes and tent camps where displaced Palestinians had been sheltering. Witnesses said schools and clinics were hit during the assault, leaving families with no safe place to stay. Health officials confirmed at least 24 deaths across Gaza in a single day, many of them children.

Eyewitnesses described the situation as devastating. "The occupation destroyed houses, burnt tents, and dropped bombs on shelters. Drones even broadcasted messages ordering people to evacuate," said a 60-year-old mother from Sheikh Radwan. The assault has left families once again on the move, searching for safety in a war zone where nowhere is secure.

Israel's government has stated that the operation is targeting Hamas, describing Gaza City as the group's last stronghold. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered the military to capture the city completely. However, Israeli military officials have warned that such aggressive actions could endanger hostages held by Hamas and put soldiers at greater risk.

Humanitarian groups estimate nearly one million Palestinians could be displaced if the assault continues. Already, over 63,000 people have died since the conflict began in October 2023, with food shortages and malnutrition worsening the crisis.

Despite ongoing international pressure, Israel remains determined to continue its operation. Hamas has offered hostage exchanges tied to ceasefire conditions but refuses to surrender weapons, leaving civilians trapped in a cycle of violence and despair.
