Donald Trump has warned Iran that any effort to restart its nuclear program could lead to fresh U.S. military attacks. He claimed the Iranian sites were previously destroyed under his leadership and would be hit again if rebuilt.
Speaking via his Truth Social account, Trump said that major facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan were bombed using powerful 30,000-pound bunker-buster bombs. He warned it would take Iran years to fix or replace them.
Trump called this action "Operation Midnight Hammer," boasting that Iran didn't respond during the strikes. He suggested Iran should build new sites elsewhere if it intends to continue.
However, recent U.S. intelligence suggests only the Fordow site was fully destroyed. Natanz and Isfahan may still be partially operational.
Some experts believe Iran may have moved enriched uranium before the attacks. Suspicious truck activity was seen near Fordow days earlier.
Meanwhile, global nuclear officials say Iran refuses to explain secret underground activity.
