Title: Iran Warns Trump: Respect Supreme Leader or Face Consequences
Post by: Abdulrahmon Mubarak on Jun 29, 2025, 06:13 PM
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi issued a stern warning to President Donald Trump on Friday, demanding an end to his "disrespectful" tone toward Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Araghchi stated that if Trump genuinely desires a deal with Tehran, he must demonstrate respect instead of issuing insults.

In a direct post on X, Araghchi urged Trump to "put aside the disrespectful and unacceptable tone" towards Khamenei, emphasizing the need to avoid offending the millions of the Supreme Leader's devoted followers.

Araghchi highlighted the resilience of Iranians, likening it to their intricate carpets, a product of immense labor and patience. He asserted that Iranians "know our worth, value our independence, and never allow anyone else to decide our destiny," underscoring their national pride and autonomy.

In a provocative jab, Araghchi mocked Israel's perceived reliance on the U.S. during the recent military confrontation. He claimed the "Great and Powerful Iranian People... showed the world that the Israeli regime had NO CHOICE but to RUN to 'Daddy' to avoid being flattened by our Missiles," referencing U.S. intervention at Iranian nuclear sites.

The Iranian foreign minister's message concluded with a clear threat: "If Illusions lead to worse mistakes, Iran will not hesitate to unveil its Real Capabilities, which will certainly END any Delusion about the Power of Iran." He added, "Good will begets good will, and respect begets respect."

This strong admonition comes days after the end of the Iran-Israel conflict and recent U.S. airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. The heightened rhetoric reflects persistent tensions despite the U.S.-brokered ceasefire.
