UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy strongly condemned Israeli forces for attacking starving Palestinians in Gaza. He described the shooting of civilians waiting in line for food as "disgusting" and called for full accountability from Israel.

Lammy's statement, reported by The Guardian, emphasized the need for justice. He said no one should be targeted while seeking humanitarian aid. His words echoed global concerns about the worsening crisis in Gaza.

This condemnation comes as international pressure grows over Israel's ongoing military offensive. Many world leaders are urging immediate protection for civilians and unimpeded humanitarian access.

According to Gaza's Health Ministry, seven more Palestinians died from hunger-related causes on Saturday, including one child. These deaths highlight the critical food shortage caused by continued Israeli blockade and conflict.

Since October 2023, 169 people — including 93 children — have reportedly died from starvation in Gaza. Aid organizations have repeatedly warned of famine.

Foreign Secretary Lammy also expressed interest in visiting Gaza soon. He said he hopes to witness the situation firsthand and support humanitarian efforts directly.
