President Donald Trump has suggested a "Regime Change" in Iran. This comes amid heightened tensions between Iran and Israel, following US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities. Trump's remarks, posted on Truth Social, questioned why there shouldn't be a regime change if the current Iranian government can't "MAKE IRAN GREAT AGAIN."

His statement diverges from other US officials who stated that the goal of military actions was not to overthrow Iran's leadership. The US strikes occurred after a week of hostilities between Iran and Israel, echoing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's aim to dismantle Iran's nuclear research program.

US allies, including the UK, supported the strikes, believing they neutralized the threat of nuclear attacks. However, Iran has consistently denied any intentions of developing a nuclear arsenal.

Trump described the damage from the strikes as "monumental," a claim Iran has downplayed. Iran, in turn, has promised "everlasting consequences" for the US actions.

In retaliation, Iran launched missile strikes at a US air base in Qatar. Trump has consistently called for Iran's surrender.

The escalating situation underscores the volatile geopolitical landscape in the Middle East, with potential far-reaching implications.
