The sighting of the new moon of Shawwal 1446AH has been confirmed.
An official statement with further details is expected shortly from Alhaji Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar, the Sultan of Sokoto and President General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA).
