Saudi Arabia's King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have expressed heartfelt condolences to Pakistan following the devastating floods that struck the northern regions of the country. The disaster caused tragic loss of lives, injuries, and left many still missing.

In an official message to Pakistan's President Asif Ali Zardari, King Salman extended his "deepest condolences and sincere sympathy" to the families of the victims. He prayed for the recovery of the injured and for the safe return of those reported missing.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also sent a separate cable of condolences to President Zardari. The Saudi leadership reaffirmed their solidarity with Pakistan during this difficult period, offering prayers and sympathy to the entire nation.

According to Pakistani officials, at least 344 people have died as a result of the flooding. The majority of the casualties were recorded in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where torrential rains and sudden cloudbursts triggered widespread destruction.

Authorities reported that more than 150 people remain missing. Rescue teams are continuing their efforts to locate survivors while providing relief to thousands of affected families. The floods have also damaged infrastructure, homes, and farmland, intensifying the hardship faced by local communities.
