Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has welcomed the ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel. In a recent telephone conversation with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, the Prince expressed Saudi Arabia's hope for the truce to restore regional security and stability, averting further confrontation.

The Saudi Press Agency reported that the Crown Prince emphasized the Kingdom's consistent advocacy for diplomatic dialogue as the primary method for resolving disputes. This stance highlights Saudi Arabia's commitment to peaceful resolutions amidst the ongoing regional tensions.

The pause in the conflict, which began on June 13, was announced shortly after Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps launched missile strikes on Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar. This base is the largest U.S. military installation in the Middle East.

Following the attack on Qatar, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also spoke with Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. He reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's solidarity with Qatar and strongly condemned Iran's actions as "unjustified and blatant aggression."

In further diplomatic outreach, the Crown Prince received a call from Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani. Both leaders welcomed the ceasefire's implementation and underscored the urgent need to maintain regional security and stability through concerted efforts.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also held a similar phone call with the Saudi Crown Prince. These high-level discussions demonstrate widespread international support for the ceasefire and a shared regional desire to de-escalate the volatile situation.
