Saudi Arabia has strongly condemned Iran's missile strikes on targets in Qatar. A foreign ministry statement denounced the aggression as a "flagrant violation of international law."

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman immediately called Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. During the call, he reaffirmed the Kingdom's full support for Qatar and condemned the "unjustified blatant aggression."

The Crown Prince also assured Qatar that Saudi Arabia is deploying all its capabilities to assist in protecting Qatar's security and preserving its sovereignty, showcasing strong solidarity.

Iran's missile attacks on a US military base in Qatar were in retaliation for American bombings of its nuclear sites. Qatar confirmed it successfully intercepted the missiles, with no casualties reported.

Beyond Saudi Arabia, a wave of Arab nations including the UAE, Egypt, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Iraq, Jordan, and Morocco have also issued strong condemnations, highlighting regional unity.

The widespread condemnation, including from the UN and France, underscores deep international concern. Leaders are urging for de-escalation and a return to diplomatic solutions to prevent further conflict.
