RIYADH: Saudi Arabia is set to host the seventh Saudi Law Conference from September 28–29, 2025, in Riyadh. The conference, themed "The Future of Legal Systems in the Age of Technology, Artificial Intelligence, and Sustainability," will bring together legal experts, academics, and professionals from around the Kingdom and the world.

Minister of Justice Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani will lead the opening ceremony. Serving as president of the Supreme Judicial Council and chairman of the Saudi Bar Association board, his participation underscores the Kingdom's commitment to adapting legal frameworks to meet the demands of digital transformation and global legal standards.

The event represents a strategic component of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, aimed at modernizing the nation's legal and regulatory structures. Delegates will explore the rapid evolution of the legal profession, tackling both opportunities and challenges created by emerging technologies and sustainability imperatives.

Organizers have designed the program around specialized panels and interactive workshops. Participants will include government officials, practicing attorneys, technology experts, and business leaders, fostering collaboration across domestic and international sectors.

Key topics include adapting legal systems to digital acceleration, safeguarding personal data and privacy, establishing AI regulations, defining ethical responsibilities for technology use, and integrating sustainability principles into national and international law. Princess Hala bint Khalid, president of the organizing committee, emphasized the conference as a reflection of Saudi Arabia's broader ambitions for global legal leadership.
