Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Interior has intensified its nationwide enforcement campaigns, resulting in the detection of 18,673 violations between September 25 and October 1. These comprehensive inspections targeted multiple sectors, revealing 10,673 offences related to residency regulations, 3,822 linked to border security breaches, and 4,178 involving labor law violations. The week-long operation reflects the Kingdom's commitment to maintaining order, safeguarding its borders, and ensuring compliance with national laws.

During the crackdown, authorities intercepted 1,479 individuals attempting to enter the Kingdom illegally. A closer look at the data shows that 59 percent of these individuals were from Yemen, 40 percent from Ethiopia, and the remaining 1 percent from various other nationalities. The Ministry also apprehended 52 individuals for attempting to leave Saudi Arabia unlawfully, demonstrating the government's firm stance against both illegal entry and exit.

In addition to intercepting migrants, the authorities arrested 17 people suspected of aiding illegal activities by transporting, sheltering, or employing violators. These arrests underscore the Kingdom's zero-tolerance policy toward those who facilitate illegal residency or employment, holding them accountable under strict legal measures.

Currently, 31,015 expatriates — including 29,172 men and 1,843 women — are undergoing legal procedures to address their violations. These steps ensure that each case is handled in accordance with Saudi regulations and that offenders face appropriate legal consequences.

Furthermore, 25,478 individuals detained for breaching regulations have been instructed to contact their respective embassies or consulates to obtain the necessary travel documents. Authorities are working closely with foreign missions to expedite the repatriation process.

In total, 2,139 violators were advised to finalize their travel plans, while 11,544 have already been repatriated. These actions reflect Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to regulate its labor market, enhance border security, and preserve national stability.
