Qatar's airspace has reopened after Iran's targeted missile attack on a US military base there. The situation unfolded as regional tensions escalated.

Iran launched a limited missile attack on a US military base in Qatar on Monday. This was a direct retaliation for American bombings of Iranian nuclear sites over the weekend.

President Donald Trump characterized the attack as "very weak," noting there were no US casualties and that Iran had provided advance warning. He expressed hope for "Peace and Harmony."

Qatar successfully intercepted the short- and medium-range ballistic missiles aimed at its Al Udeid Air Base. Qatar condemned the attack as a "flagrant violation" of its sovereignty.

Iran stated its missile volley matched the number of bombs dropped by the US on its nuclear sites and emphasized targeting areas outside populated zones, suggesting a desire for de-escalation.

Following the incident, several regional nations, including Bahrain, Kuwait, and the UAE, temporarily suspended their air traffic as a precautionary measure, which has since been lifted.
