In Madinah on Wednesday, the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League (MWL), Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, engaged in discussions with prominent British Islamic leaders. The meeting centered on the various challenges and concerns currently affecting the Muslim community residing in the United Kingdom.

The visiting UK Islamic leaders expressed their sincere appreciation for the MWL's significant contributions to the broader Islamic world. They also acknowledged the league's vital role in supporting Muslim minority communities across Europe and specifically within the UK, emphasizing its efforts to safeguard their cultural and religious heritage.

The delegation highlighted a notable event, the warm reception of Al-Issa by King Charles at Buckingham Palace following his coronation. They noted the symbolic importance of Al-Issa being the first Arab and Muslim figure from outside the UK to receive such an invitation.

As part of their visit, the British leaders toured the International Fair and Museum of the Prophet's Biography, an institution affiliated with the MWL. The museum offers a comprehensive narrative of the life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).

During their discussions, the attendees collectively reaffirmed their unwavering support for the Palestinian cause. Furthermore, they jointly called for an immediate cessation of the ongoing conflict and what they described as the "genocide" in Gaza, attributing it to the actions of the Israeli occupation government. They emphasized the need for Gaza to serve as a unifying symbol for Muslim communities worldwide.
