At least 20 Palestinians were killed on Sunday in multiple Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources. The victims included civilians who were simply waiting for humanitarian aid in different areas of the region, with no active threat or combat taking place near them.

Fifteen of the victims were shot dead while standing in line for food and basic supplies in southern and central Gaza. Eyewitnesses described scenes of panic and fear as bullets struck unarmed civilians in vulnerable positions. These tragic events continue to highlight the dangerous conditions civilians face daily.

In northern Rafah, nine people were reportedly targeted near aid distribution centres. They had gathered there in hopes of receiving life-saving food and water, but were met with unexpected gunfire. Many of the wounded remain in critical condition.

Another six civilians were killed near the Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza. They had gathered in a similar manner to collect humanitarian aid when Israeli forces opened fire, injuring several others in the process.

Meanwhile, an airstrike struck a school in the Al-Amal neighbourhood of Khan Younis, which was being used to shelter displaced families. The attack killed two civilians and injured others, adding to the growing list of shelters hit by Israeli air raids.

In Gaza City's Shujaiya neighbourhood, three more civilians were killed by artillery shelling while gathered in a residential area. The rising death toll underscores the urgent need for protection of civilians and unrestricted humanitarian access in Gaza.
