On Monday, Israel launched its most powerful strikes to date on Tehran, targeting Revolutionary Guard sites and Evin prison. This action marks the 11th day of escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, which began on June 13.

In retaliation for earlier American strikes on its nuclear facilities, Iran fired missile barrages at Israel and vowed a strong response against the United States. Loud explosions were reported in Tehran, indicating the intensity of the Israeli offensive.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated the strikes were conducted with "unprecedented force," fueling speculation about a potential attempt to destabilize Iran's leadership. Targets included Evin prison, known for holding political opponents, and command centers of the Basij paramilitary and Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Israeli and Iranian media also confirmed a strike on Fordo, a critical underground nuclear enrichment facility. Israel's military said this aimed to "obstruct access routes" to the site, which the U.S. had previously targeted with "bunker buster" bombs.

As the conflict intensifies, sirens blared across Israel, with blasts reported over Jerusalem and residents in Tel Aviv seeking shelters. Global oil markets reacted nervously, and China urged both nations to prevent further escalation, warning of economic fallout.

Both sides have reported casualties, with Iran's health ministry stating over 400 deaths from Israeli strikes and official figures indicating 24 deaths in Israel from Iranian attacks. The international community, including the UN and NATO, is closely monitoring the volatile situation.
