Iran has executed Majid Mosayebi, a man convicted of working with Israel's Mossad intelligence agency, according to the Iranian Tasnim news agency. This comes amidst heightened regional tensions.

Mosayebi was accused of attempting to transmit "sensitive information" to the Israeli intelligence service. His execution marks a significant development in Iran's ongoing efforts to counter perceived foreign espionage.

The Iranian judiciary's Mizan Online news platform, cited by AFP, reported that Mosayebi was hanged after exhausting all legal avenues, including a final confirmation from Iran's Supreme Court. The judicial process was completed.
