Iran has fiercely condemned the recent coordinated military strikes on its nuclear facilities by the United States and Israel. Tehran views these actions as a critical "red line" crossed, vowing to defend itself against what it calls acts of aggression.

Speaking at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) meeting in Istanbul on Sunday, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated the attacks signify a severe escalation. He emphasized, "They crossed a very big red line by attacking [Iran's] nuclear facilities."

These comments followed former US President Donald Trump's confirmation of American warplanes bombing three Iranian nuclear sites. The US strikes occurred after nine days of Israeli aerial operations targeting Iran's nuclear infrastructure, including the underground uranium enrichment facility at Fordow.

Araghchi admitted the full extent of the damage from "last night's attack" was still unknown, calling it a "grave crime." He accused the United States of undermining global stability, adding that Iran would respond "by all means necessary" to defend itself.

In response to the escalating crisis, Araghchi announced he was traveling to Moscow for talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin. He dismissed Trump's call for renewed negotiations as "irrelevant," claiming US support for Israel had already betrayed the diplomatic process.

As international concern mounts, the host of the OIC summit, Turkey, warned that the strikes could trigger a wider global conflict. Calls for restraint and diplomacy are growing, but the path forward remains highly uncertain.
