The United States is asking some workers to leave its embassy in Baghdad. This is because problems in the Middle East might soon get worse. Only people who are not essential for daily work must go.

The embassy already has a small number of staff. So, not many people will be leaving. But the U.S. is also allowing nonessential workers and their families to leave Bahrain and Kuwait too.

These people can choose if they want to leave or stay. The U.S. military is ready to help them leave quickly if the situation gets more dangerous.

Officials talking about this did not give their names. That's because these plans are not officially shared yet.

Meanwhile, the UK has warned ships passing through nearby waters to be very careful. The warning comes because of the rising risk of conflict in the region.

British experts said ships linked to Israel or the U.S. could face military threats if violence increases.
