Title: Injured Gaza Children Get Hospital Help and Safety in Italy
Post by: Abdulrahmon Mubarak on Jun 12, 2025, 11:00 AM
Seventeen Palestinian children badly hurt in Gaza, have now arrived in Italy to get urgent medical care. Among them is 11-year-old Adam Al-Najjar, who lost nine siblings during an airstrike. He came with his mother to Milan, where they were met with support and kindness.

Adam is now being treated at Niguarda Hospital in Milan. He has serious injuries—his head is healing, but his arm bones are broken, and the nerves are badly damaged. His mother, a pediatric doctor, shared that his pain is still strong.

The flight also carried five more injured children, while eleven others landed in different Italian cities. Italy is giving care in hospitals across cities like Rome, Florence, and Bologna. Altogether, 70 Palestinians were flown in by military aircraft.

Adam's father, also a doctor, sadly died a week after the attack. Despite everything, Adam bravely described his injuries to the press.

The United Nations says over 15,000 children have died and more than 34,000 were injured during two years of war in Gaza. The Italian government has now brought 150 wounded Palestinians from Gaza to safety and care in Italy.

Though Italy supports Israel, it recently showed concern over the high number of civilian deaths in Gaza and called for balanced responses in the conflict.
