Arab countries have voiced strong condemnation of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's recent comments suggesting the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza. The remarks, centered around the Rafah crossing on Egypt's border, have drawn widespread rejection across the Arab world.

In an interview with an Israeli Telegram channel, Netanyahu claimed there were "different plans for how to rebuild Gaza" and asserted that "half of the population wants to leave Gaza." He attempted to dismiss the notion of forced expulsion, yet admitted, "I can open Rafah for them, but it will be closed immediately by Egypt."

Egypt swiftly rejected these statements through its Foreign Ministry, describing them as "ongoing attempts to prolong escalation in the region and perpetuate instability." Cairo stressed that such rhetoric was aimed at evading accountability for Israeli violations in Gaza.

Jordan also strongly responded, with its Foreign Ministry calling Netanyahu's words "a blatant violation of international law and international humanitarian law." Amman highlighted that displacement cannot be justified under any circumstance and reaffirmed its solidarity with Palestinians.

Qatar joined in the condemnation, labeling the remarks "an extension of the occupation's policy of violating the rights of the brotherly Palestinian people." Doha emphasized that such statements revealed a disregard for peace efforts, including the two-state solution backed by the international community.

Saudi Arabia echoed the rejection, describing Netanyahu's comments as "a grave violation of international laws, principles, and humanitarian standards." Riyadh further reiterated its unwavering support for Egypt and its alignment with the Arab position defending Palestinian rights.
