Pilgrims traveling to Makkah and Madinah can now use the Nusuk app without internet data or airtime. This new move comes from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, making digital support easier for all pilgrims, whether performing Hajj or Umrah.

The free access to Nusuk is thanks to a partnership with Saudi Arabia's top telecom companies—STC, Zain, and Mobily. These providers have agreed to allow the Nusuk app to run with no data charges at all.

Through this app, users can enjoy many helpful tools during their spiritual journey. These include real-time directions at the Two Holy Mosques, maps to sacred sites, help with getting permits, and support during rituals.

Other features in the app include emergency contacts, event notifications, and multilingual customer service. Pilgrims can also check waiting times at entry points and get step-by-step guidance during their visit.

To get started, users only need to download or update the Nusuk app on their phones. It is available in major app stores and works right after installation—no data needed for anything inside the Nusuk app.

Please note that this free access is limited only to the Nusuk platform. If users try to visit other websites or use different apps, their normal data charges will still apply.
