Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has once again spoken strongly against the ongoing suffering of Palestinians under Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's policies. He declared that Türkiye will never remain silent in the face of oppression and injustice. His statement came during the opening ceremony of Mevlid-i Nebi Week in Ankara, where he highlighted the importance of Muslim solidarity.
Erdogan stressed that the plight of Palestine is not just a regional issue but a humanitarian cause that affects all Muslims. He reminded the audience that Türkiye's responsibility extends beyond its borders, covering every nation where the wounds of the Islamic world are bleeding.
"Half of our heart is here, and the other half beats for Gaza, Palestine, Yemen, Sudan, and Afghanistan," Erdogan said, emphasizing the unity of the Muslim Ummah. This powerful message reflected Türkiye's position as a defender of oppressed communities across the globe.
Highlighting the importance of unity, Erdogan compared Muslims to "bricks of the same building" and "parts of the same body." He noted that when one part suffers, the entire body feels the pain, reinforcing his call for brotherhood among Muslims.
Despite the turmoil in the Middle East, Erdogan called for hope and resilience. He underlined that Türkiye would never bow to despair, no matter how great the injustices, inequalities, or oppressions may seem.
With this message, Erdogan positioned Türkiye as a voice of resistance against oppression and a nation standing firmly beside Palestinians and all struggling Muslim nations worldwide.
