Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister, Faisal bin Farhan, asserted that humanitarian aid access to Gaza must not be contingent upon a ceasefire. He emphasized the urgency of delivering essential supplies to the besieged population, highlighting the dire humanitarian crisis unfolding within the enclave. This stance reflects a growing concern within the international community regarding the immediate needs of Palestinian civilians.

Prince Faisal further called upon the global community to exert significant pressure on the Israeli government. He argued that Israel has a responsibility to facilitate the unimpeded delivery of aid to Gaza, ensuring that basic necessities reach those in need. This call for action underscores the necessity for collective international effort to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people.

These statements were made during a joint press conference in Antalya, following a crucial meeting of the Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee dedicated to securing a ceasefire in Gaza. The summit provided a platform for discussions regarding the escalating situation within the enclave and the concerted efforts aimed at achieving an immediate and sustainable cessation of hostilities.

The committee's deliberations also addressed the issue of displacement, with Prince Faisal unequivocally rejecting any forced relocation of Palestinians. He expressed Saudi Arabia's appreciation for the mediation efforts undertaken by Egypt and Qatar in the ongoing ceasefire negotiations, recognizing their pivotal role in seeking a peaceful resolution.

The Saudi minister painted a stark picture of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, stating that its residents are being "deprived of the most basic necessities of life." He held the international community accountable for the rapidly deteriorating situation, emphasizing their collective responsibility to address the urgent needs of the affected population.

Furthermore, the meeting underscored the importance of sustained efforts to enable the Palestinian people to exercise their inherent rights. Prince Faisal also condemned Israel's violations of international law in the West Bank, citing settlement expansion, home demolitions, and land seizures as examples of actions that undermine peace and stability in the region.
