Saudi Arabia and Egypt have joined voices in calling for an urgent end to the ongoing Israeli war in Gaza. Both nations stressed that continued violence only worsens the humanitarian tragedy already affecting millions of Palestinians. They urged the international community to apply stronger pressure on Israel to halt attacks and allow safe entry of aid into the blockaded enclave.

The call was made during an emergency ministerial meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held in Jeddah. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan emphasized that Israel's actions have brought severe suffering to civilians, many of whom lack food, water, and medical support. He warned that silence from global powers risks prolonging injustice and further destabilizing the Middle East.

Egypt, sharing a border with Gaza, also underlined the urgent need to protect innocent lives. Egyptian officials insisted that humanitarian aid must not be delayed, as families face shortages of medicine and basic supplies. Cairo reiterated its long-standing stance that peace can only be achieved through dialogue and recognition of Palestinian rights.

The ministers highlighted that the Gaza conflict is not only a regional crisis but also a test of international values. They reminded world powers of their responsibility to uphold international law and prevent collective punishment. Stronger diplomatic efforts, they argued, are the only way to secure a lasting ceasefire.

Saudi Arabia and Egypt both pledged to continue working with regional partners to stop bloodshed and open humanitarian corridors. Their united stand signals growing frustration over the lack of global action.

The OIC meeting concluded with renewed appeals for global solidarity with Gaza, warning that inaction could lead to further instability across the region and beyond.
