A Nigerian woman, Zara Mohammed, has controversially claimed that "only broke men wail" when a woman states she doesn't cook, clean, or do laundry. Her statement has sparked considerable debate.

In a Facebook post made on Friday, Zara explicitly linked a man's financial status to his expectations of a woman's domestic skills. She suggested that such complaints stem from a "place of financial cost."

"If you see a man whirling because a woman said she cannot cook, clean or do laundry, definitely He is broke. He is speaking from a place of financial cost. So, bear with him," she wrote, urging understanding for their perceived financial struggles.

Zara further distinguished between men of differing financial backgrounds, stating, "The ones with a certain level of wealth no even send such conversations." This implies that wealthier men are less concerned with a woman's domestic abilities.

She concluded her post with a prayer, "May Allah distance us from poor men and men with poverty mentality (for a relationship)." This firm declaration underscores her strong stance on the issue.

Zara stood by her comments, adding, "I said what I said. Sorry, I am not sorry because I hate the way you go about insulting women who said they can't do such work." Her statement challenges traditional gender roles and expectations within relationships.
