Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz recently announced an enforcement plan by the Israeli military. This strategy aims to ensure Iran "cannot return to threaten Israel," signaling a heightened state of readiness.


Katz emphasized the necessity for Israel's military to maintain air superiority and prevent Tehran from restoring its prior capabilities. This involves robust preparations in both intelligence gathering and operational execution.

These remarks follow a significant 12-day air war in June between the two long-standing adversaries. During this conflict, Israel carried out strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.

Israel stated the purpose of these strikes was to prevent Tehran from developing a nuclear weapon. This highlights the serious nature of the perceived threat.

For its part, Iran consistently denies any ambition for nuclear arms, asserting that its nuclear program is solely for peaceful applications.

Hostilities between Israel and Iran concluded on June 24, thanks to a US-brokered ceasefire. However, the recent statements indicate ongoing tensions and proactive measures from Israel to address its security concerns.
