The Jigawa Hisbah Board recently destroyed alcohol worth N5.8 million.
This happened in Kazaure Local Government Area of the state.
The alcohol was seized during raids carried out in the area.

The Commander of Hisbah, Ibrahim Dahiru, shared this news on Monday.
He spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria in Dutse on July 21, 2025.
He confirmed that 400 cartons of alcohol were burnt.

The operation was led by Alhaji Mansur Dabuwa of Kazaure.
He worked with the Hisbah team to destroy the seized drinks.
This action followed several bar raids in the local area.

Hisbah said beer and alcohol are not allowed in Jigawa.
They aim to stop immoral behaviour and illegal drinking.
This is part of their mission to protect Islamic values.

Commander Dahiru urged people to support Hisbah's efforts.
He asked residents to give helpful reports and information.
This helps the board carry out its duties well.

He warned people to avoid immoral acts and vices.
He said such behaviour can destroy peace and unity.
Hisbah will continue working to keep society clean and safe.
