Title: German Mothers Urge Government To Stop Supporting Israel’s Brutal War
Post by: Abdulrahmon Mubarak on Sep 05, 2025, 07:56 AM
A growing movement of concerned mothers in Germany is making headlines after staging a peaceful protest outside the Chancellery. The group, known as Mothers and More Against Merz, is demanding that the German government take a stronger stance against Israel's military actions and policies in Gaza. Their demonstration highlights a rising wave of public discontent over the humanitarian crisis.

The protest directly criticized Chancellor Friedrich Merz and his administration for remaining silent while thousands of civilians in Gaza continue to suffer. According to the mothers, Germany's political leadership has failed to respond adequately to Israel's ongoing blockade and the devastating impact it has on ordinary people, especially women and children.

During the protest, members of the group carried banners and voiced their anger over what they called "brutal and unjust policies." They insisted that Germany should stand on the side of humanity, not remain complicit in actions that worsen the crisis.

One of their key demands is for the government to halt all weapons exports to Israel immediately. The mothers stressed that German-made arms are being used in the conflict, and therefore the country bears responsibility for the consequences.

The group also urged Berlin to apply diplomatic pressure on Israel to end its blockade of humanitarian aid. They argue that allowing free flow of medical supplies, food, and water into Gaza is the least Germany can support.

With public demonstrations like this gaining attention, the movement signals growing frustration within Germany. Citizens are increasingly calling for policies that promote peace, justice, and accountability in the Middle East.
