In Tandama community, Katsina State, youths reportedly attacked a Hisbah office on June 13. The violent confrontation stemmed from a disagreement over haircuts.

According to security analyst Zagazola Makama, Hisbah officials challenged some youths about their hairstyles. This seemingly minor issue quickly escalated into a full-blown assault.

The confrontation saw the youths directly attack the Hisbah office. This unexpected escalation highlights simmering tensions within the community regarding moral policing.

As a result of the attack, several Hisbah officials sustained injuries. They were promptly rushed to Danja General Hospital for urgent medical treatment.
