A Palestinian teenager tragically died after being shot by Israeli forces on Monday in the occupied West Bank. This deeply saddening incident has raised significant concerns.

The victim, 13-year-old Ammar Mutaz Hamayel, was briefly detained by Israeli forces after being shot near the village of Kafr Malik. He was then handed over to a Palestinian ambulance crew.

Paramedics rushed Ammar to the Palestine Medical Complex in Ramallah. Despite their efforts, he was pronounced dead upon arrival, adding another young life to the conflict's toll.

The incident occurred near Kafr Malik, a village of approximately 2,500 Palestinians. This community is situated 17 kilometers northeast of Ramallah.
